Wang Hanbin

Born: 1925 in Fujian Province, China. Wang Hanbin joined the Chinese Communist Party in 1941 and worked his way up the ranks of both the Party and the Chinese Government until from 1992 until 1997 he was an alternate member of the 14th CPC Politburo Central Committee and, from 1993 until 1998, the Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee (the full-time members) of the Chinese National People's Congress. In this capacity he headed a delegation to Latvia in 1995 and stayed at the house in 6 – 10 July.
